This website is owned and operated by Stoke Books. Throughout this site the terms ‘we, us and our’ refers to Stoke Books. By using this site you agree to all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated.

Payment Method
Our transactions are processed through PayPal.com using a secure encrypted server. You may use debit, credit cards and Apple Pay. If you wish to discuss alternative payment methods please contact us on info@stokebooks.co.uk
The Contract Between Us
Any contract for purchases made through the web site will be with Stoke Books, whose office is 127, Wentworth Road, Harborne, Birmingham B17 9SU.
Stoke Books must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted, and the contract formed. Once payment has been received Stoke Books will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your registration form. The shipment email will include your name, the order number and the total price. Stoke Books acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any term sought to be imposed by you in your order will not form part of the contract.

Availability Of Goods You Order
If Stoke Books has insufficient stock to deliver the goods ordered by you, we will notify you as soon as possible and any sum debited by Stoke Books from your credit card will be re-credited to your account and Stoke Books will notify you by email at the address given by you in your order form. The refund will be made as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order. Stoke Books will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
Delivery Of Goods To You

Stoke Books will post the goods ordered by you to the person and address you give Stoke Books at the time you make your order.

Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted. All delivery times quoted on the web site are estimates only, based on availability, normal processing and delivery companies.

You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when the goods are despatched to you.
Delivery prices
We usually deliver goods using the Royal Mail 2nd Class service up to a weight limit of 2kgs, covering the United Kingdom, Highlands and Islands, Scilly Isles and Isle of Man ‘only’. Delivery costs for these regions are stated on our website. For delivery to all other countries please contact us at info@stokebooks.co.uk for a specific quotation.

Cancellation rights
As a consumer you have the right to cancel an order as required by the distance selling regulations. The cancellation period begins with the day on which a contract is concluded. The cancellation period ends on the expiry of 7 working days, beginning on the day after the day on which the consumer receives the goods. You as the consumer can be asked to return and pay for the full cost of returning the goods which must be in mint/resalable condition.
Returns Policy

Damaged book(s) - In the first instance, please email us at info@stokebooks.com with a photograph of the damage. Once received and agreed, we will replace these book(s) without charge to you.

If the book is unwanted or ordered in error - You cover the cost of return packing and postage. Once received by us, refunds will be made only on the price of the book. The returned book must be in mint/resalable condition.
You should contact Stoke Books on info@stokebooks.co.uk within 10 days of delivery.
Ownership of intellectual property, copyrights and logos
All material on this website, including without limitation, images, text, graphics, logos, photographs and all Intellectual Property Rights related thereto, are the exclusive property of Stoke Books.Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed to create a licence in or under any such Intellectual Property Rights and by using the website you agree not to sell, licence, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, adapt, edit or create derivative works thereof.
Liability
This is as follows:

If the goods Stoke Books delivers are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, Stoke Books shall have no liability to you unless you notify Stoke Books in writing at the Stoke Books contact address of the problem within 10 working days of the delivery of goods in question.

If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 30 days of the date on which they were despatched to you, Stoke Books shall have no liability to you unless you notify us at info@stokebooks.co.uk of the problem within 40 days of the date on which the goods were despatched to you.

If you notify a problem to Stoke Books under this condition, Stoke Books' only obligation will be, at its option:- to make good any shortage or non-delivery; to replace any goods that are damaged or defective or to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question to the original method of payment.
Force Majeure
Stoke Books shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
Complaints
Stoke Books operate a complaints handling procedure which is used to try to resolve disputes when they first arise. If you have a complaint, please contact the Customer Service department at the following email address: info@stokebooks.co.uk. We shall endeavour to respond to you within 5 working days.
Right to change and modify these Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify these terms from time to time at our sole discretion.
Promotional emails and content
You agree to receive from time to time promotional messages, materials, and information on the publication of latest blogs from us by email. If you do not want to receive such promotional material or notices, please just notify us at any time at info@stokebooks.co.uk

Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions, together with the current Stoke Books web site prices, delivery details and Stoke Books contact details, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by us. These terms and conditions cannot be varied except in writing signed by an authorised person from Stoke Books. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England.
Interpretation
In these terms and conditions:
‘Stoke Books' means Stoke Books,127, Wentworth Road, Harborne, Birmingham. B17 9SU
‘working day' means every day of a calendar year apart from weekends and statutory and public holidays;
'us' means 'Stoke Books' and you together; and
'you' and 'your' means the person ordering goods under these terms and conditions.
